VW Bratislava (Slovakia)

The Volkswagen premises in Bratislava have a total surface area of approx. 2 square kilometers, of which nearly 1.3 square kilometers are built up. The plant manufactures vehicles and gears. In 2004 Volkswagen Slovakia accounted for about 20 percent of the total exports of Slovakia.
In the summer 2005 approx. 8,000 people were working for Volkswagen Slovakia.
The manufacturing halls M13 + H03 were fitted with a total of 16,000 sprinkler heads; the order value was approx. 2.2 million Euros.
